Join us for a Research Roundtable this Saturday (4/19) from 4-7pm at the Library for Researching and Remembering located within the Alliance Community Cultural Center in Downtown Pomona (406 W. 2nd St, Pomona, CA 91766)

Topic : Earth Intimacy

This collective learning session will be guided by IIS Archive Caretakers Ezra and Marvin James and refer to curated reference texts from Octavia E. Butler, Chinua Achebe, Alison Rose Jefferson, Shugri Said Salh, Lennox Honeychurch, Masanobu Fukuoka, and Robin Wall Kimmerer.

The provided research citations will support us understanding the power of earth intimacy, our ancestral relationship with the land, and the ways our earth empowers self-liberation practice.

The event is free to attend, donation tickets are welcomed and proceeds will be invested in the library’s collection and future programming.
