Worldbuilding 3000: Cooperative Placemaking (April 9, 6pm)
Join us for our final session of Worldbuilding 3000, a collective learning symposium held at Pitzer College in Claremont, CA on Wednesday, April 9, from 6-9pm.
In this session we’ll take a look at the role of placemaking, identify our various needs and visions for spaces, and practice making place within the context of worldbuilding.
Guided by Marvin James and in collaboration with Dr. Marilyn Grell-Brisk, this program will begin with a 90-min workshop from 6-7:30pm followed by a 90-min artist talk from 7:30-9pm.
Hosted on-campus at Salethe Gallery (McConnell Center 110), each session is open to the public, RSVP only, free to attend, and limited to 14 participants. We ask you ensure attendance before reserving your seat and notify us if you’re unable to attend after RSVPing.
